When I sit outside on a cool winter’s day and look around, I see God. He is everywhere. Watch snow falling in the woods, painting the tops of the branches white. Soon the woods will seem like an old black and white photo. When the winds knock some of the snow to the ground, the branches begin to look like giant pussy willows. God is there playing his own version of a snowball fight, dropping, plopping the snow on my head. God is there, in the trees, the snow, the sky, the earth.
Watch a sunset turn the horizon infinite shades of golds, oranges, pinks, purples. God is there in the changing sky. Just before the sunsets the deer come out of the woods in search of sweet grasses and new leaves of shades of green. The deer blend in with the old toasted toffee brown leaves of last fall. God is there too. Gaze into the face of a sweet child, whether ivory, golden mustard, coffee or bronze skinned, God is there. God is everywhere, in nature, the land, the sky, the waters, the air. God is within us, in all of us. (Anonymous) A friend shared this with me and I thought it was beautiful and worth sharing with you. I hope you enjoy it like I did. Happy Spring!!
